Union Govt trying to sabotage stir: Channi
Cabinet Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said instead of resolving the issues of farmers, the Centre was trying to intimidate Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh by filing ED and CBI cases against him.
Channi alleged the Centre had been trying to sabotage the farmers’ protest and the Union Ministers were adamant and insensitive to peasants. The minister said the Punjab Government had passed four Bills in the Assembly to nullify the Centre’s farm laws and the Union Government was not able to digest this.
